The earthquake in Sichuan’s Ya’an City has caused extensive damage, jury and loss of lives. We feel pain and have great empathy for the victims.

Speaking at Lee Kum Kee’s 125th Anniversary Founder’s Day Gala Dinner held on 20th April 2013, Mr. Lee Man Tat, Group Chairman of Lee Kum Kee, announced that Lee Kum Kee Sauce Group donated RMB1.25 million, and LKK Health Products Group donated RMB1.25 million through the “Si Li Ji Ren Foundation” (思利及人公益基金會) to the aggrieved families in the earthquake. So the Lee Kum Kee Group has made a total donation of RMB2.5 million for emergency relief and rehabilitation.

23 January 2013, Hong Kong – Lee Kum Kee Sauce Group and Lee Kum Kee Health Products Group were bestowed “The 2nd Outstanding CSR Enterprise Award” by the Mirror Magazine for two consecutive years in recognition of the Group’s commitment in corporate social responsibility over the years.

Lee Kum Kee has been participating in Hong Kong’s Caring Company community activities since 2002, and honored “Caring Company” by the Hong Kong Council of Social Services for 11 consecutive years. It affirms the continued contributions and effort of the Company in fulfilling corporate social responsibility over the years.

“2012 The Grand Charity Ceremony” co-organized by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the People’s Government of Guangdong Province and Southern Television Guangdong was held at Guangzhou Zhongshan Memorial Hall on 13 November . Lee Kum Kee Group Chairman Mr. Lee Man Tat was awarded the “2012 Southern – Top Ten Chinese Philanthropists” in recognition of his continuous support of charity work in hometown and significant contributions to Guangdong Province.
