“Lee Kum Kee International Young Chef Chinese Culinary Challenge 2018” (LKKIYCCCC 2018) was held successfully with all the winners announced last night! Joung Duck Su (Korea), with his winning dish "130th Anniversary Wealthy Meatballs", ingeniously matched the ingredients with Lee Kum Kee sauces and condiments, standing out from the 42 participating young chefs to win the "Lee Kum Kee 130th Anniversary Best Heritage Tasting Award". A grand Award Presentation Dinner was held last night, well attended by nearly 350 guests from Chinese culinary associations, and industry elites from all over the world to witness the birth of the winners.

“Lee Kum Kee International Young Chef Chinese Culinary Challenge 2018” (LKKIYCCCC 2018) kicked off today with the Opening Ceremony held at the Chinese Culinary Institute. At its third edition, this year’s contest has become more internationalised with the theme of "Excel on Traditions Converging Global Culinary Talents". 42 aspiring young chefs from 17 countries and regions worldwide, including celebrity chefs from gourmet variety shows, executive chefs from renowned Chinese restaurants and chefs from Michelin-starred restaurants, are required to prepare Chinese dishes with designated ingredients, as well as Lee Kum Kee sauces and condiments within 90 minutes to vie for the International Championship during the two-day contest taking place today and tomorrow.

In the 2018 Honours List announced by The Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) on 1 July 2018, Lee Kum Kee Group Chairman Mr. Lee Man Tat, who is close to 90 years of age, was granted the Silver Bauhinia Star (SBS) in recognition of his long-term distinguished contributions to charity and community service. In the citation of Mr. Lee’s award, the Government also commended him for leading Lee Kum Kee to become one of the most prominent manufacturers of Chinese sauces and condiments in Hong Kong and for promoting Chinese culture and cuisines over the years.

On 11 March 2018, the Groundbreaking Ceremony of South China Sales Headquarters of Lee Kum Kee Sauce Group was hosted at Vanke World Meets of Guangzhou South Railway Station commercial hub. Lee Kum Kee Group Chairman, Mr. Lee Man Tat and his wife, Mrs. Lee Choi May Ling; Lee Kum Kee Sauce Group Chairman, Mr. Charlie Lee; Director of Lee Kum Kee Group, Mr. David Lee; the Lee Family, the management of Lee Kum Kee Sauce Group and LKK Health Products Group, together with over 200 guests all witnessed onsite the joyous moments.
