Pan-fried Fish Patties in Thai Style

Mackerel Fillet 300 g
Yard-long Green Beans [finely chopped] 40 g

Seasoning Mix

Premium Soy Sauce 1 tbsp
Sugar 1 tsp
Egg ½ pc
Kaffir Lime Leaf [chopped] 1 pc
Chopped Bird’s Eye Chili ½ tsp
Lime Zest ¼ tsp
Crushed Black Pepper ⅛ tsp
Chopped Lemongrass 1 tsp
Chopped Shallot 1 tsp
Minced Garlic ½ tsp

Dipping Sauce

Premium Soy Sauce 2 tbsp
White Vinegar 1 tbsp
Sugar 1 tbsp
Chopped Roasted Peanuts 2 tbsp
Chopped Bird’s Eye Chili ½ tsp

1.   Mash Mackerel fillet. Blend with little salt and water in a mixing bowl until sticky. Add beans and Seasoning Mix and mix thoroughly.
2.   Divide the mixture into 8-10 balls and flatten a bit to form round patties.
3.   Heat 4 Tbsp oil in a skillet. Semi deep-fry over medium heat until both sides golden and cooked. Serve with the mixed Dipping Sauce.
